Enterprise data sharing platform Siccar and technical engineering consultancy Vysus Group have successfully completed a pilot of their innovative Energy Transition Databox solution alongside global completions specialists, Tendeka, a TAQA company.

Energy Transition Databox – an engineering and technology partnership between Vysus and Siccar – is a secure, end-to-end data management solution that enables companies to manage and share accurate and trusted emissions information across their supply chain.

By leveraging the platform, which uses a secure data infrastructure to automate data acquisition, Tendeka obtained verifiable emissions data, providing an accurate and assured baseline for complying with regulations and for prioritising decarbonisation initiatives.

Alicja Fryc, QHSE Manager with Tendeka, said: “Calculating and reporting our emissions data is not only about complying with environmental legislation, but also about identifying where and how we can reduce our carbon footprint. The Databox pilot proved that we could use innovative technology to automate data acquisition, build a verifiable audit trail, and inform our decisions on strategic decarbonisation initiatives. Collaboration is at the heart of the emissions challenge, and the working relationship between Tendeka and the Databox team ensured the whole process was very effective and successful.”

Jonathan Jones, Growth Lead with Siccar, added: “We know that gathering the data required for measuring, reporting, and verifying emissions – particularly around Scope 3 – can be very complex and present a real challenge for customers.

“Our platform integrates fragmented data sources and digitises the acquisition process, allowing us to plug directly into Tendeka’s systems and increase efficiency. By embedding the engineering and environmental management expertise of Vysus, we enabled Alicja and the team to understand their emissions activities and to subsequently prioritise next steps. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Tendeka during the pilot and look forward continuing our partnership as we roll out the solution.”

Vysus and Siccar are in the closing stages of Databox pilot projects with several major operators and services companies across the energy sector.
